Please join Dinah Memorial artist Karyn Olivier at Stenton Museum on Friday, February 2nd at 6pm to kick-off Black History Month and learn about Karyn’s design process and its evolution. Stay after Karyn’s conversation for a screening of “Remember My Name: Dinah’s Story” written by Robert Branch and performed by Irma Gardner-Hammond and Marissa Kennedy. Stenton created this 2021 film to bring to life new research on Dinah, a once enslaved woman who lived and labored at Stenton in the 18th century. The Dinah Memorial will be unveiled on Saturday, April 20th! To learn more about Dinah and the Dinah Memorial Project, visit www.stenton.org/dinah
